Happy New Year

Happy New Year! Well, sorry for mentioning it so late. I know i am a sinner for wishing this late. But you know there is this Ad posted for a local pub for the eve of new year which says "even sinners are welcome ". So if sinners are allowed to party for the new year, sinners who didn't wished new year can also be forgiven. So on this day for commiting such a mistake i am leaving this blog alone by not mentioning anything about music in this post.
We'll meet again in due time and i'll also give you the reason for my time lag in posting the blog. But for now, i only came back to apologize. Forgive me!

Comatose

Well, this song is performed by Christian rock band called Skillet. I think you know which song(title of the post) i was referring to. I haven't listened this song but the title is apt. Comatose meaning refers to a person who is in the state of Coma.

Like I said before, is there no place to sit in Planet Caravan? Well, i don't know but we can say that as he mentions in the song that, "we sail". Sailing can only be done when you are sitting. But if you came to that planet in a Space Shuttle, then there is an exception as the problem of the vacuum makes to sail when you're standing. You know that, right? Okay. Business is business. Let get down to the explanation. We often mistake heroes to be the ones who perform stunts, but its only their extraordinary actions which set them apart(Ad for Namma Bengaluru Foundation Awards in 91.9FM). So everyone who succeeds in his life is a hero. Isn't it? then why there are only some heroes? Okay. if you say like i haven't came to limelight otherwise everyone would've acclaimed my accomplishments. Yes, that's true. But who cares about others? it's ultimately you who should feel that you have accomplished something in your life and you are happy about that. If you are happy about your life, then you have accomplished something and you are a hero.

But have you always felt happy for yourself? forget about the position which you are in. That happiness only comes when you're a Comatose. Don't get me wrong here. You must experience that state not medically but  mentally. That's what your yoga guru says like at least close your eyes for 10 min and think about nothing to ease off your tensions in this busy life. There is no point in climbing the mountain immediately after you've finished climbing another mountain. You should sit for a while on top, must enjoy the view, chill out to gain more energy.If you follow the former way, result will be stumbling from it may not that particular one, but any other mountain.I guess Robin Sharma says about this in one of his books. But when you hear this song for 2 times and say that my ten minutes in coma is finished, then that's not true. You should be doing nothing practically, listening too is a work.I've heard a person in a movie called "Eat Pray Love" says to Julia Roberts that we, Italians how to take rest in a busy life, we take a day off and sit in the home and practically do nothing not like your Americans who sit on the couch to watch movies(The conversation goes something like that).This song tells you the importance of enjoying your life which is filled with agitations.You play this song, after finishing it you'll definitely want to be my title of the post for 10min or even more.

Planet Caravan

Again same strategy is followed for the title of the post. In the forthcoming posts, I'll try not to mention anything about the title if it has the same title of the song which i am about to have a discussion on. As we have recently started the blog, i am going at a slow pace explaining about a single song for a post. This is all here to make you comfortable so that you will all be setting up for a long ride which will take you away to the unknown places in the realm of music.

Talking about the unknown places, i think you might have seen some of them in the lyrics of our song while you are checking them in the website mentioned. Its because no one observes or pays attention to the lyrics while listening to that song, but you can still guess the lyrics as you can see those places which he mentions in the song by closing your eyes. Making sense, isn't it? It does make sense, because that is one of the strangest songs(or probably the one and only) you have heard from a heavy metal band. Don't believe me? listen to any other song made by that band. The previous song gets your confidence back and makes to live your life with a new perspective (if only your previous one was bad, or else you will continue with the same way with more potential). But this song gets all your laziness within you and makes to sit on your couch and even sleep.Then why did i recommended it? You may question why are you making us sit on our couch like like lazy dumb-heads, or is there no place to stand in Planet Caravan?

I'm A Barbie Girl

At last, I finally found a song which is well known to almost everyone who seldom listen to English songs.

 Wait, are you guessing that I am gonna start discussing about the lyrics of the song?. Not really. To get to the destination, we often choose certain paths which often look like destinations to others, but only we know how to identify them, because it is we who have chosen those path to reach the end point. My title is just a path but not the destination. Then what is the end point? Well, it is.......................... Planet Caravan.

Wait, Hold on, what is it? It takes hours and hours to reach to a place in the city with the traffic that is existing now a days and we can't afford a flight. Then how come can we reach a planet and it doesn't exist at all i guess.

There may be  non existing places, but there is no term called non existing dream. Anything can happen through dreams and you can reach to that planet by listening to the song called "Planet Caravan" performed by the band called "Black Sabbath". You listen to this song and sail in your world like I'm a barbie girl in the barbie world. For men, there is no such term called barbie boy. Isn't it? but don't regret, we have an entire new planet where we can do whatever we want. What all the things we can do? Well, that can only be shown like this:

Some Rain Must Fall

I thought I'd change the way i frame the title of my post. So i opted for books now. Never mind, Music is still music and my blog will never change its title till there is a proper justification provided for it. But, i thought this title would be appropriate, but don't think this is a first hand title. This too is taken from the title of a book written by an author called Michel Faber. Does anybody love Charles Dickens around here? Then you should check Faber's book called "The Crimson Petal and The White". In this book, the writer not only gains comparisons with Dickens, but also surpasses him at some instances with his mind-blowing hypnotic prose. What a book!

Okay, enough about the book, let's get down to the discussion now. Still thinking about the last lines of my previous post?. Well, let's look at some of the lines of the song then.

"Through the darkness and good times

How does it sound? The person knew that he/she had it all (Here, fears can happen to humans of both genders, don't think only women are the sufferers and only we men, are to rule them or to control their destiny) but still waiting for someone. Well, still the lyrics are beautiful to me. Why? 

Because that someone who i was waiting for is within me. The day i realized that truth everyday will be a new day for me. I think you got the point now. But why did I put the meaning of the song in a different way in my last post then?. That's how the system works when you tell something good, no one cares. When you say something bad and then and then advice to get the good out of it, a considerable amount of people listen. The remaining ones have to wait till they realize it practically. As there is no positive charge at all, there is only negative and the remaining is considered to be the positive charge as per Electrostatics and charge is quantized (expressed in terms of integral multiples) that is, the more you apply, the more it gets multiplied (Sorry, again comes my technical attribute, i think it's difficult to control it now a days) .Giving advice is easy my friend. So, why you wait till someone gives you a advice, get started from now, wake up your angel with in you. Unleash your potential (BOOST Ad) and then someone has to say to describe you like "Racing DNA unleashed" (Ad of some motorbike which i don't know as i even don't know how to ride a motorbike, bicycle is an exception). I wish that on this very day that some rain must fall into your soul or if it had already fallen, let it be more heavy.Okay, enough for the lyrics. Enjoy the song and don't always think about the lyrics while you listen. As it sometimes may/may not remind you of the fears and tears you face or happen to face in life:). The meaning is to get good or bad out of it like I've shown you previously. It all depends on your perception.

Celine Dion has a voice that is good and she even makes it more appealing by maintaining the correct pitch during various nodes (high/low). If you are more interested in the songs of her, try any of her compilation albums. Take a short compilation album first, and then if you wish to, you can try boxed set.  "Whitney Houston" (She is the queen in maintaining a voice mixed with sudden high and low nodes. Doubt that? listen to her song "I will always love you") is another singer to try if you like the songs of Celine Dion. We'll discuss more about her in the time being.

A New Day Has Come

No need to mention which song i copied the lines from. It's not always like that to copy the title of my post from the lines of a song, but if at all there is a chance, i wouldn't want to miss it. Now that you are reading this post a new day has come into your life as you've agreed to open the gates of your soul to provide a room for the English Music. You may be annoyed that why the hell is this person always mentioning English music/language as the only pioneer which guides him all the way through his life?. The thing is, as you are already familiar with the regional music or the instrumentals that come across your songs, there is no need for me to mention all of it again.

Of course the trends of English Music are seen everywhere. So, it wouldn't be awkward to explore it directly rather in an implicit way. Isn't it?

As I've already stated, lets have a small gist about the beauty of the lyrics. In a nutshell, the singer waits for some eternal force to shatter all her tears and fears. After waiting for so long, an angel appears and touches her with love. She wishes if any rain could fall to wash away her tears and all the other things she wishes it to do. This is what it is. Looks great when we see the whole lyrics of the song, but when someone asks to give me the meaning of the song in a single sentence, I'd say "We all have to wait for someone to solve our problems and then only a new day enters into our life"  . That's all it says, isn't it?

The above lines are copied from the song performed by Enrique bearing the same title. Good song though, give it a shot if you want to. The justification of the my post's title comes in the following lines: In one of my previous blogs, I mentioned every known artist to you but, i have missed a song which everybody knows since it appears in the soundtrack of one of the biggest blockbusters of Hollywood. It's the song which everyone in India who at least watches one English movie per year knows. The Song is "My heart will go on"sung by an artist called "Celine Dion" (i think lot of you have heard this name too) and the movie is ................
Do I need to mention that? Okay. Here it is: "Titanic".
I watched that movie on 20th October 2011. So sad, isn't it? You may be having a doubt that this person says he's interested in movies and music and he's watched Titanic after 2 decades since it's released. Well, things happen like that. I said, i started listening to songs from the past 4-5 years. So you can imagine my interest in English movies spawned during the same period. So forgive me for once and i know that i've commited a sin or whatever it looks like in your eyes.

Well she in post's title indicates Celine Dion. Why her, despite all the others? Well, there is a reason. I and my mom experienced lot of setbacks in our lives for a long time for obvious reasons. It's not necessary to mention the reasons.Well, things started looking up for me now. When I reached to the city where i am currently living, i promised i will make my mom listen to the song called "A New Day Has Come" by "Celine Dion". Why? I explained the lyrics of the song and my mom said okay. Well, let this be your first song i want you to listen which my blog recommends. So, let she be the one whom you'd like to listen to.
Listen to the song and then go through the lyrics or vice versa. Either way goes fine.
